Hi, I'm Rich, owner of Nature and Nurture. About 15 years ago I left a career in sales and studied Landscape Architecture with a view to finding a new career working outdoors. During the course I naturally focused my attention on gardening and garden design. Following the successful completion of the degree, I worked for a small firm doing all aspects of garden maintenance. After that role I worked for a garden centre to improve my plant knowledge. I was also doing some consultancy and design work, which led to working at a prestigious private estate as a gardener. Three years later I was RHS Level 3 qualified and had become Head Gardener, managing all aspects of gardening to ensure the grounds were maintained to the highest standard. During my 12 years there I have designed and maintained many new and varied areas of interest. 

Through my gardening career I have gained a wealth of experience to enable me to help customers achieve their gardening aspirations.

I feel I can offer customers something a little different. 

I am a gardener who designs and a designer who gardens. So with these hot temperatures I am seeing on a daily basis what plants are struggling and which are coping well.
